Union County Development Association Building

The next installment of our B2B Luncheon Series, sponsored by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi, is scheduled for Thursday, August 17, 2017, in the Magnolia Room of the Magnolia Civic Center. The program will be provided by Mr. Bill Renick, WIA Director for Three Rivers Planning and Development District. He will bring exciting news concerning a new program for workforce development in our region and especially in New Albany and Union County. You will not want to miss this event. Plant managers are encouraged to bring your HR directors to this event. A brief description of the program is as follows:

“Filling the Workforce Gap-Mississippi Partnership’s Sector Strategy Plan”

“The presentation will explain the Sector Strategy Plan developed by the Mississippi Partnership Local Workforce Development Board and the specific details of how partnering with the New Albany and Union County school systems and Community Colleges will prepare the future workforce and place them in the pipeline to careers that meet the work skills needed by Union County Business and industry.”

Although we plan to increase the seating, it will still be limited and reservation of your place(s)at the table is necessary. Your response by Monday, August 14, will guarantee you a seat! You may make your reservation by phone, 662-534-4354, or by simply replying to this email. Please do not use the “Reply to All” button. We all get too many emails as it is.
