City of New Albany order concerns church services

New Albany Mayor Tim Kent has issued an order to clarify some issues concerning religious services during the coronavirus pandemic.

This is essentially the same order approved by the Union County Board of Supervisors and reminds everyone that although the governor classified church services as essential businesses, they still must adhere to the CDC rule of having no more than 10 persons present and also maintaining the six-foot social distancing separation.
