Dawn Elizabeth Stephens, 59

Dawn Elizabeth Stephens, born on October 21,1961, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, left this earth unexpectedly in the early hours of December 1, 2020. Dawn was the older of two children born to Archie W. Stephens and Linda Porter Stephens. She received her early education in Clarksdale Public Schools and at the Clarksdale Baptist School.
The family moved to Tupelo in 1978 and Dawn Graduated from Tupelo High School in 1979. She attended Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University. She worked for a period of time at Tupelo Lumber and then went to NMMC where she has been for the last 29 years.
She was preceded in death by her dad, grandparents Grady and Clara Stephens, and Ulysses and Shirley Hayes Porter, and one uncle, James Darwin Porter
She is survived by her mother, a brother, Michael Stephens, a son Seth Stephens, a grandson, Brentley Stephens. She also leaves aunts and uncles, Doug (Janice) Stephens, Ann Stephens, Carol Porter Walker, Joe (Claudia) Porter, and Debby (Larry) Skelton, and several cousins whom she adored.
Dear to her heart were the girls in her Bunko group with whom she shared good times and bad times and sometimes trips to the beach. She also enjoyed deep camaraderie with her co-workers
She was a long time member of Harrisburg Baptist Church.
