Blue Springs–Edna Loyce Gullett Ellis, 97, died Wednesday, June 18, 2019, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born February 7, 1922, in Tippah County to Booker Gullett and Clara Little Gullett. She was a member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church. She was a dedicated member of Baptist Memorial Hospital Volunteer Service for many years.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren: James Richard Sanford (Lisa), Jennifer Sanford Bell (Rick), Amanda Ellis, and Robert Eric Ellis; 9 great-grandchildren: Kylie, Matthew, Zach, Ryan, Andrew, Travis, Marybeth, Hudson, and Sadie; and 2 great-great-grandchildren: Aubree and Olivia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Travis Charles Ellis; 2 sons: Charles Robert Ellis and James ‘Buddy’ Ellis; 1 daughter: Sue Ellis Sanford; 7 brothers: Clarence, Alvie, Leroy, Cliff, Curtis, J. B., and Truett Gullett; 7 sisters: Reba Foley Brown, Lorena Hall, Ruth Eaton, Allene Warrington, Marie Tullos, Kathleen Newell, and an infant sister; and 2 grandchildren: Brad Ellis and Faye Ellis.
