The annual William Faulkner Literary Awards Luncheon will be Friday, September 24th, at the First United Methodist Church.  Tickets are available at the Union County Museum and UCDA.  Tickets are $15 each and $120 for a table of 8.

The speaker this year will be Minrose Gwin, originally from Tupelo and living in Arizona now.  She is the author of Promise, The Accidentals, The Queen of Palmyra, The Feminine and Faulkner, and more.  A community read of her book Promise set during and after the Tupelo tornado of 1937, is this year’s community literary focus.  The book is at the museum for $12.
