  • Children’s Original Poetry,
  • Literary Competition Awards Ceremony,
  • Memoir Writing
  • Programming from the William Faulkner Literary Garden.

WHEN: August 20 – September 30, 2020

  • August 20, 2 pm:  Writer Bill Rose speaks about the late Coach Ben Jones.
  • September 10, 10 am: Live from the Faulkner Garden with Sherra Owen.
  • September 17, 12 noon: Book talk wit Dr. Kate Stewart on Faulkner’s Go Down Moses
  • September 24, 10 am: Children’s Poetry Reading
  • September 25, 12 noon: 2020 William Faulkner Literary Awards
    • Guest Speaker  – Robert Hitt Neil
    • Literary Awards in Novel, Short Story, Poetry, One Act Play, Student
  • September 25, 7 pm: From Magnolia Civic Center Facebook Live
    • Tallahatchie River Players, staged reading of 2019 winning play, Untethered, by Judy Klass of Nashville
  • September 30, 10 am: Memoir Writing Class with Dr. Elizabeth Crews
