Blue Springs-Jerry Milton Reed, 77, passed away after a long 14-year battle with cancer. He was born December 24, 1944 to William and Irene Reed. Mr. Reed served our country in the National Guard. In his younger years, he enjoyed drag racing and always hoped one day he would be able to return to the sport. Mr. Reed was a good man; he was kind and gentle. He loved his family with all his heart and treasured any chance he was given to spend time with them. He was so loved and will be missed beyond measure. He was a member of Center Baptist Church.

Services will be Monday, November 21, 2022 at 1:00pm at United Funeral Service with Bro Mike Brazeal officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the start of the service at 1:00 also at United. Burial will be at Center Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Tyler Hill, Terry Hill, Jake McVay, Colton Pannell, Jeremy Raines, Earl Lofton and Dave McGinnis, Honorary will be Jerry Dolye Raines, Jimmy Reed, and Sam Patterson.

Those left to carry on his memories are his wife, Kathy Bramlett Reed, two daughters, Anna Bramlett and Andi Beth Hill (Tyler), one sister, Sandra Hearn (Billy), three brothers; James Reed (Becky), Paul Reed (Kay), and Phil Reed (Billie Ruth), and two grandchildren Colton Reed Pannell and Idgie Hill.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Curtis Reed.
