Joe and Greta Wilson 65th wedding anniversary

Joe and Greta Wilson of Garfield Street in New Albany are observing their 65th wedding anniversary today. They were married April 27, 1956.

That’s a major milestone for any married couple.

However, Joe and Greta are really exceptional in that they maintain a very vigorous lifestyle. Pulling their camper behind a pickup truck for several days at campsites within a one-day drive is a regular occurrence.

One would be hard-pressed to name two people in Northeast Mississippi who have more friends than Joe and Greta – and that’s not counting raccoons!
