Mary Anne Stamey Smith, 63, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in New Albany. She was born January 10, 1956, in New Albany to G. B. Stamey, Jr., and Mary Frances Ganger Stamey. She was retired and a homemaker.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Mary Martinez (Donnie), Cary Grimes (Patrick), Samantha Cox (Larry, Jr.), and Kristy Mahon (Jon); 1 son: Dennis Smith (Annie); 3 sisters: Pat Bagwell, Bobbi Smith, and Ruth Williams; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Dennis C. Smith; and 1 brother: George Bly Stamey.

Pallbearers will be Larry Cox, Jr., Kenny Bagwell, Jackie Smith, Cody Williams, Cody Jumper, Kevin Harget, Chris Thompson, and Grover Jennings.
