Medplus Tupelo Has 1st Positive Coronavirus Test

Tupelo- Medplus Urgent Care Clinic of Tupelo has announced that it has had a positive coronavirus test on Thursday. The clinic, which has been offering drive-up testing, has tested 370 people. More than 300 tests are awaiting results.

Jenny Barnes, a nurse practitioner with Medplus, has said that the woman that tested positive is doing better than when she was first tested. Although the clinic has had a positive test, it will still need to be verified by the Health Department and the Center for Disease Control.
