Michael “Mickey” Thomas Jolly,

72, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was born November 18, 1946 to Thomas Ivy Jolly and Velora Mickey Jolly

Earnestine Murdock Jolly. He was the owner/operator of Jolly’s Dirt Construction, a member of Sherman Baptist Church, a member of the former Sherman Civitan, a member of Tupelo Hog Roasters. and a much-loved husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at United Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Matt Russell and Bro. David Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be at Sherman Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Huffstickler Jolly; his mother, Velora Earnestine Murdock Jolly; two sons, Rick Jolly of Sherman and Kevin Jolly (Mandy) of Ecru; two brothers, Allen Jolly of Tupelo and Reggie Jolly of Sherman; and two granddaughters, Katelyn Jolly and Larsen Jolly.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Terry Jolly.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
