Miss Union County Fair Pageant winners chosen

The Miss Union County Fair Pageant was held at the fairgrounds Friday night.

Categories included Jr. Miss Union County Fair for ages 9 and 10, Pre-Teen Miss Union County Fair for ages 11-13, Teen Miss Union County Fair for ages 14-16 and Miss Union County Fair for ages 17-21.

The Miss Union County Fair category was open to all Northeast Mississippi counties while the other three were for Union County residents only. Miss Union County Fair is also a scholarship pageant with a $500 scholarship to the winner, $300 to the first alternate, $200 to the second alternate and $100 to the third alternate.

Winners in the Teen Miss Union County Fair category were, from left, third alternates Riley Kate Anderson, daughter of Kelly Anderson and Rob Anderson and Lillie Ann Grace Hampton, daughter of Randy and Rhonda Hampton (tie); second alternate Riley Meyer, daughter of Randy and Kristy Meyer; first alternate Zalla Ann McCaffrey, daughter of Jason McCaffrey and Izalda Anderson; and winner Addison Christina Owen, daughter of Brett and Eva Owen.

Winners in the Pre-Teen Miss Union County Fair category were, from left, third alternate Daylen Rose Grisham, daughter of W. C. and Darla Grisham; second alternate Josie Osorio, daughter of Jose Osorio and Laura Fernandez; first alternate Polly Elizabeth Reid, daughter of Clint and Brandi Reid; and winner Ainsley Porch, daughter of Keegan and Charlie Porch.

Winners in the Jr. Miss Union County Fair category were, from left, third alternate Emalee Claire Grant, daughter of Will and Faith Grant; second alternate Jayni Remington Zinzer, daughter of Jonde and Chris Hood and the late Jeff Zinzer; first alternate Kyla Porch, daughter of Keegan and Charlie Porch; and winner Paige Clark Carruth, daughter of Missy Russell and Cole and Shannon Carruth.
