NAHS “College Application Day” sees many first generation college students apply

College Application Day was held at New Albany High School on Friday, September 10.

College Application Day is a day where seniors have an opportunity to receive assistance completing college applications.

Admissions counselors from the University of Mississippi, Delta State University, and Northeast Mississippi Community College assisted with this event.

This year, 96 seniors completed over 220 applications. Thirty-nine percent of these seniors will be first generation college students.
