NAHS Receives Walmart Community Grant for IMPACTO program

New Albany High School has been selected to receive a $2,000 Walmart Community grant to improve workforce development.

This money will assist in the funding of the IMPACTO internship program.

IMPACTO (Industries as a Means to Prepare for Academic, Career, and Technology Opportunities) is a culminating career awareness project for high school juniors and seniors.  It is a two-year program of study which includes a career readiness class, national work certifications, dual enrollment opportunities and ultimately, a paid summer internship program.
