PIne Ridge home sustains smoke, water, fire damage Tuesday

The New Albany Fire Department responded to a call at 400 Pine Ridge Drive shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Arriving units found smoke showing from all around the house. Upon entering they found fire had apparently originated in the stove-microwave area. The large amount of smoke came from the fire spreading into cabinetry and associated areas and involved some plastics.

No one was reported injured but the structure did sustain smoke, water and fire damage.

Units were on the scene more than an hour.
