Scenes of New Albany Christmas Parade 2022 -

New Albany celebrated the upcoming Christmas Holidays with its 2022 Christmas Parade, Monday November 28. Mother Nature provided a good night for a parade, just ahead of less desirable weather. Clubs, families, schools, churches, businesses, first responders, as well as local officials and their employees provide multiple entries, both traditional and non-traditional.

Johnny Payton and his New Albany Streets Department employees were honored to serve as this year’s Christmas Parade Grand Marshall(s). As always, the New Albany Streets Department made a good job of it.

There was a large, appreciative crowd of onlookers who arrived in vehicles with tags from many of New Albany’s surrounding counties. New Albany’s Main Street and Community Development office and their Community Partners sponsor the parade. The parade entry fees go to the New Albany Gazette’s Sharing at Christmas Fund.
