Shirley Ruth Shaw Coltharp, 81, died Monday, April 22, 2019, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born September 10, 1937, in Potts Camp to Charles Hilburn ‘Hillbolt’ Shaw and Ruth Naomi Randolph Shaw. She was a member of Martin Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and she loved watching TV and talking on the phone.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at United Funeral Service with Bro. Andy Russell officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by 1 daughter: Teresia Little of Blue Mountain; 3 sons: Mike Coltharp (Susie) of Ecru, James Coltharp (Ann) of New Albany and Charles Coltharp, of New Albany; 3 brothers: Ralph Shaw, Charles Shaw, and Lester Shaw; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Paul Whitten Coltharp; 1 daughter: Shelia Gray; 2 sisters: Laverne Cupp and Vivian Taylor; 2 brothers: Larry Shaw and Gary Shaw; and 2 grand-daughters: Jennifer Chadwick and Stephanie Killough.

Pallbearers will be John Coltharp, Tim Coltharp, Jon Jarvis, Jonah Condon, Allan Hardin, and Brody McCammon. Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Camp.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at United.

The family requests memorials to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
