Law enforcement officials have confirmed to NEMiss.News that there was a shooting incident in Myrtle sometime before 10 p.m., Thursday, May 19.
The shooting reportedly occurred at or near the Dollar General Store on Highway 178 on the northwest side of Myrtle.
We are told the shooting “victim is fine.” The Union County Sheriff’s Department is actively working the case as this brief article is published shortly before midnight.
