Susan Roberts, the recently retired administrative assistant to New Albany Mayor Tim Kent, has received a letter of commendation from First District Congressman Trent Kelly.

Jim Owen, Field Representative for Kelly, presented the letter to Roberts Friday afternoon, July 24, at New Albany city hall.

The commendation reads in part, “Your commitment to New Albany and dedication to your community does not go unnoticed, and I want to personally thank you for your lifetime of community service.”

Susan Roberts retired June 19th after serving as administrative assistant to Kent for 14 years. She was previously employed at Benchcraft, where she was secretary for Benchcraft President Tom Cunningham until his retirement.
