Will Tucker has announced his candidacy for re-election of Alderman Ward 4- City of New Albany. Will is a lifelong resident of New Albany. He is the son of the late Bill Tucker and Kelly Banks Tucker. Will is married to Emily Wommack Tucker and they have two daughters Eady Claire(7) and Emma Kelly(2).

Will is a graduate of New Albany High School and The University of Mississippi where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing. He is an Eagle Scout, Phi Delta Theta Alumni, member of Rotary Club of New Albany(Past President), Master Mason(Past Master), 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, York Rite Mason, member of First Baptist Church, and member of Paul and Susan Hall Sunday School Class.

Will is a Certified Municipal Official in Basic, Advanced, and Professional levels. The Mississippi Municipal League offers these optional courses and require 60 hours for the Basic level, an additional 40 hours for the Advanced level, and another additional 40 hours for the Professional level. These specially crafted courses create meaningful, informative, and useful information on topics that will expand elected officials knowledge and capabilities.

Will is the owner of the Windshield Doctor, LLC. The Windshield Doctor has been a family run business and has served New Albany’s Auto Glass needs for over 38 years.
He currently serves on the Union County Development Association Board of Directors, Magnolia Civic Center Board of Directors, and the Personnel Board for the City of New Albany.

Will is experienced and dedicated; he has served as Alderman since 2010. “Serving as Alderman is a great responsibility that I do not take lightly. I will continue to always be available to listen to constituents concerns or recommendations. I am dedicated and eager to serving the citizens of New Albany and continue being a contributing factor in the growth of New Albany.
