Fire on West Bankhead extinguished

The New Albany Fire Department responded to a fire call reported about 7:40 p.m. at 1117 W. Bankhead St. Friday.

The fire appeared to be in the former Harrison Motors building with a lot of smoke but this is unverified, waiting on the official report from the fire department. More information will be provided when available.
