Haven’t voted in Levitt AMP? Now’s the time!

November 20th, 2015     Tourism

With about ten days left in the voting period, New Albany is currently in 6th place in the Levitt AMP grant competition.

This competition will award 15 grants of $20,000 to 15 winning communities to support free music concerts. There are 40 entrants in the running at this time, with New Albany being the smallest community included.  Community support is very important, as the 15 winners will be selected from the top 25 vote-getters.

There are other MS communities in the running, and after you vote for New Albany, you may wish to support a sister community, also.

What you need to know:

  • Online public voting opens November 2, 2015 and ends November 30, 2015 at 5:00 PM PST.
  • An individual voter may vote for up to five different submissions, but can only vote for each submission once.
  • After public voting determines the Top 25 finalists, Levitt Pavilions will then select the 15 winning Levitt AMP grant recipients.
  • Winners will be announced on January 5, 2016.

Visit https://grant.levittamp.org/voter-registration-page/ to register and vote. Then share this article with your friends and encourage them to vote for New Albany.
