Eighth-graders have virtual meeting with state officials

Students in 8th grade at New Albany Middle School participated in a virtual roundtable discussion with state government leaders on Wednesday, Oct. 21.  Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, Representative Sam Creekmore IV, and District Attorney Ben Creekmore all discussed their role in state government and answered students’ questions.  This unique opportunity was coordinated by Social Studies teacher Matt Tyer.
